Kareena Kapoor lives up to the expectations as she gets into the skin of her character Mahi in the just released Heroine trailer. There's a glimpse of the much-awaited item song Halkat Jawani too.

The actress who's seen in various avatars, in the film (since she's an actress), manages to impress with her acting skills.

Bebo is seen getting steamy with co-star Arjun Rampal too. After Kurbaan, this is the first time Kareena has done some extremely intimate scenes. The actress can certainly expect some awards for her role.

Madhur Bhandarkar recently released the first poster of the film on twitter. The poster has Kareena dressed in a shimmery tank top and shorts lying down on a bed surrounded by magazines and photos of herself and an empty wine glass.

"Presenting the 1st poster of Heroine to all my well wishers. Hope you like it," Bhandarkar tweeted. The film, charting the journey of a Bollywood actress, is set to hit theatres on September 14," he tweeted.

Kareena's smoking scenes cut from trailer

You will probably not see a 'smoking' hot Kareena Kapoor in Heroine, as shots of her smoking in the trailer of the film have been censored before being cleared. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has decided to blur all images of smoking from feature films.



Three promos for Heroine

The makers of Kareena Kapoor’s Heroine have cut three trailers of the film. The content of all the promos will be tweaked as per the markets they are meant for — Indian theatres, overseas (12 years and above in UK) and the ‘adult’ certified trailer, as originally planned.



Heroine Trailer gets A-certificate
