"Has done remarkable business, collecting a bigger total than several biggies that opened earlier this year. Collected approx Rs 23.06 cr nett in its opening weekend," trade expert Taran Adarsh writes for Bollywood Hungama.
"The film started with gusto on Friday [7.12 cr], was affected in some parts of the country due to heavy downpour on Saturday [7.03 cr], but witnessed outstanding growth on Sunday [8.91 cr]. The youth has taken to the film in a big way!" he adds.
"Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum embarked on a very good start with the first day average occupancy in the range of 60%-70%. This was pretty much as per the script because intense marketing and promotion for over six months had ensured that the Ekta Kapoor production would have some healthy numbers to show," writes Joginder Tuteja for Koimoi.com.
"The way Kyaa Super Kool Hai Hum has found good patronage coming from the youth, it is now a given (as hinted last week itself) that 40 crores would be comfortably crossed. However the challenge now is to come close to the 50 crore mark. With Jism 2 and Gangs of Wasseypur 2 as limited competition before Ek Tha Tiger arrives with all it’s fury, all eyes would now be on Ritesh Deshmukh and Tusshar Kapoor to ‘de’ some ‘macho’ impression over the weekdays as well," says Tuteja.

HT reviewer Anupama Chopra on Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum
Hollywood has transformed the raunchy comedy into high art. Who can forget the inspired use of body fluids in There’s Something About Mary or baked goods in American Pie. Or the sweetly inept Steve Carell in The 40-Year-Old Virgin. Or the gloriously funny misadventures of four friends, a baby and a tiger in The Hangover, which was the biggest grossing R-rated comedy in its day, making more than $450 million globally. Music Review: Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum
Dil garden garden ho gaya catches your attention with its pop-shuffle rhythm, reminiscent of songs from the ’50s and ’60s. The track, sung by Vishal Dadlani, has edgy synth sounds and horn fillers. The album also features a sonically over-laden remixed version of the same. MUSIC REVIEW
