‘Mom, is that you?’ kids ask Madhuri

Madhuri Dixit will soon be seen in Abhishek Chaubey’s Dedh Ishqiya, which is a sequel to the 2010 film, Ishqiya. However, recently, when her sons Arin (10) and Raayan (8) saw the film’s promo, they couldn’t recognise her.

“Since the film is based in Lucknow, Madhuri will be seen wearing traditional dresses. As her kids are not used to seeing her in such outfits, they couldn’t recognise her at first sight,” says a source close to Madhuri.

In fact, after watching the promo, Arin and Raayan asked Madhuri if she was the one in the promo. “When my kids watched the trailer of Dedh Ishqiya for the first time, they didn’t pay much attention to it. But when they noticed me with the long hair and the Lucknowi look, they came running to me and asked ‘Mom, is that really you?’”, says Madhuri.
