Newton song: Chal Tu Apna Kaam Kar is the perfect advice for internet activists
Chal Tu Apna Kaam Kar, the first song from Rajkummar Rao-starrer’s Newton is out and Irshad Kamil’s words are the perfect recipe for a political commentary on internet activists.
The first song of Rajkummar Rao-starrer’s Newton is out and we love the lyrics written by Irshad Kamil.
Amit Trivedi has lent his voice for the song that has been composed by Rachita Arora. The song that begins with ‘Chal Tu Apna Kaam Kar’ goes on to ask people to stop advising others and start carrying out their own responsibilities. With lines like ‘aas pados me kya banta hai, kya hai masala, kya hai tel, tune isase kya lena hai’, and ‘ raajneeti ki shop hai mitro sabhi emotion pe hai sale, border pe apni sena hai’ , the song is also a political commentary on the current situation.
Newton is the story of an honest government officer who has the job of conducting fair elections in a Maoist-hit region. Directed by Amit Masurkar, the film also features Pankaj Tripathi,Anjai Patil, Raghubir Yadav and Sanjay Mishra in important roles.
