No takers for actor Karan!

Filmmaker Karan Johar harbours a secret desire. After spending years behind the camera, the My Name Is Khan (2010) director wants to trade in the megaphone for an acting part.

Others of his ilk are making this transition with regularity these days, so does Karan not have casting directors queuing up outside his office? “I am open to acting but no one offers me any roles. Even internally, in Dharma (Productions), no one takes me seriously (when it comes to acting offers), so what can I say about outsiders?” says Karan with a laugh. Though it sounds like he is speaking in jest, we know how many secret ambitions are revealed under the guise of humour!
