Mehra recalls an incident from the film’s shooting. The staff had to shoot a sequence inside a train’s boggy. But they could not get the required approvals from the Railway Authority to shoot in the train. So they were not left with any other option but to create a set, as the seque-nce was crucial to the film. Creating the set would have added a lot to the cost of the film however, the producer of the film was very supportive and approved the budget.
Finally, a set was made at ND Studio and looked real. Everyone was happy with the outcome, and actor Pankaj Kapoor was quite impressed with the crew’s dedication to the film. This film is very close to Kapur’s heart as its the remake of his hit television series that earned him huge popularity as Mussaddi Lal, the show’s central character. He has high hopes from this film and expects the audience will like the film just like the way they liked the tele series.
