Director duo Abbas-Mustan’s decision to picturise the title song of their forthcoming film, Players, towards the end of the shoot , proved to be a wise one. The filmmakers wanted the actors – Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Bobby Deol, Sikandar Kher – to get into their characters and ‘feel’ the movie before they filmed the track, the music for which has been given by Pritam.

The theme of the song, like the official Indian remake of The Italian Job whose tagline reads ‘go for Gold’, is black and gold. It stars all the six actors and flags off with Abhishek’s dialogue.

The song goes Abhi Taak Hame Koi Samja Hi Nahi, Koi Hame Pehchana Hain Kaha, Nahi Kisiko Khabar Yeh Hain Manzil Kaunse, Akhir Hame Jaana Hain Kaha (no one has understood us, no one knows what destination we are headed towards, after all no one has known us). The film was shot in New Zealand, Russia (the North Pole) and India.
