Raid song Sanu ek pal: Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz romance in the ‘80s Lucknow

It’s a love song that shows the bonding between an honest government officer, played by Ajay Devgn, and his wife, played by Ileana D’Cruz.

Rahat Fateh Ali Khan has once again sung the re-mastered version of one of his uncle Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s legendary songs. This time he has chosen Sanu Ek Pal Chain Na Aave that’s a collector’s item in Nusrat’s voice. He has done it for Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz’s forthcoming film Raid.

Raid will release on March 16, 2018.

The new version is created by Tanishk Bagchi, who is making a name in remixing old hits. The reprised versions of Tamma Tamma Loge, Hawa Hawai, Raat Baaki and Aashiq Banaya Aapne are already to his credit. The modified lyrics are penned by Manoi Muntashir.

“It is difficult to stay relevant in industry. You just cannot take things easily. You have to work hard for it and if you achieve something, it doesn’t mean it will last with you forever. You have to keep struggling and be where you are and try to move forward till you can because there will be point where you will start moving backwards,” Ajay said at the trailer launch of Raid.

Raid is directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and also stars Saurabh Shukla. It will release on March 16, 2018.
