Ranbir Kapoor to work with Imtiaz Ali again

After a 'rocking' film together, the actor-director duo would be reuniting for a film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will go on the floors late next year.

After a 'rocking' film together, the actor-director duo would be reuniting for a film produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film will go on the floors late next year.

The director, who began his cinematic journey with Socha Na Tha (2005) starring Ayesha Takia and Abhay Deol, shot to fame with the superhit Jab We Met.

He later went on to direct Love Aaj Kal and Rockstar.

"I have worked with the so-called popular actors but what worked to my benefit was that they suited the part. Ranbir Kapoor suited his role in Rockstar. Whether it is a big star or a small one, it doesn't make much difference to me as long as the casting is right. I know that having a big star in the film is no guarantee," Imtiaz had said in one of the interviews.
