Rascals' a dig at Chetan Bhagat?
Ever since the promos of David Dhawan’s upcoming film Rascals are out, everyone’s talking about the names of the film’s main characters — Chetan (played by Sanjay Dutt) and Bhagat (Ajay Devgn).
They immediately remind one of author Chetan Bhagat, who is as amused. “Saw the start of the new Rascals promo. I am speechless. Mr David Dhawan, I also have a pen. Yaad rakhna ;). The good thing is, takes two stars to handle my name. I could live with that ;),” he tweeted recently.
The film’s director David Dhawan, however, says, “The characters have nothing to do with author Chetan Bhagat. They are Chetan Chauhan and Bhagat Bhosle. Anyway, no one has a right on the names Chetan and Bhagat but it’s fine if he wants publicity out of that!”
