Saira Banu’s cute tweets about her ‘Kohinoor’ Dilip Kumar will warm your heart
Saira Banu took over Dilip Kumar’s Twitter page to share a picture from a wedding she recently attended and shared cute messages about her husband.
Saira Banu made her first social appearance in a long time without her husband Dilip Kumar recently but as expected, she left her heart back home with him. In a series of tweets that will remind you of your adorable grandparents who are still so much in love, Banu told her fans how much she missed her ‘Kohinoor’ when he was not by her side.

Dilip Kumar’s (95) Twitter account sent out a message on Thursday that Banu (73) will be taking over to share a few personal messages with their fans. Banu started by saying that her husband is keeping well because of all the good wishes from his fans and followers. “Sahab is doing well. He is resting at home. He is truly overwhelmed with your messages of love through every medium possible. Thank you,” she wrote.
“As you all know, Sahab and I have always loved interacting with our millions of fans and well-wishers. And we have done so together, past 52 years,” she continued. “29 June’18 was one of the RARE times I attended a social event without my Kohinoor (my Sahab) besides me. I went for the nikah of Nida, daughter of Asif Farooqui. I felt lonely without Sahab, but was overjoyed to bless the couple and interact with so many of you,” she told her fans.
“May Allah shower his blessings on all of you. Please do pray for my Kohinoor, for his good health and for his happiness. Do keep us in your prayers as we keep all of you in ours,” she wrote in a tweet and shared a picture of herself—all decked up and looking beautiful in a blue dress—from the wedding.
Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar got married in 1966 and are two of the most respected actors of the Hindi film industry. Together, they have worked in films like Bairaag, Gopi and more.
