Salman is growing as an actor: Randeep Hooda

Randeep Hooda, who has been working with Salman Khan for an upcoming film, says that the superstar is “growing as an actor”.

Once Salman Khan likes someone, he makes sure that the person is frequently in close touch with him, or is regularly working with him. He did that with Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and now, with Randeep Hooda. Randeep and Salman worked together in Kick (2014), and soon, they will be seen together in Ali Abbas Zafar’s next, which is a story about a wrestler. Randeep plays Salman’s coach in the movie.

Randeep Hooda says that he really enjoyed working with Salman Khan on their next film.

Talking about his relationship with the superstar, Randeep says, “This is Salman’s best performance so far, based on what I have seen. He is growing as an actor. Bajrangi Bhaijaan (2015) was a big step [in that direction], and he is just moving ahead. I have really enjoy working with Salman. We have a lot of similarities and disparities, and we get along really well. Our good rapport filtered through into our scenes in Kick, and they have also come through in our next film.”

Interestingly, Salman plays a wrestler from Haryana in the film, and Randeep is originally from the state. Talking about the coincidence, Randeep says, “I hope Salman has picked up the Haryanvi accent from me.” Moreover, there were rumours that it was Randeep who taught mixed martial arts to Salman for the same film. When asked whether the reports are true, Randeep laughs it off. “I have just been joking about that. What can I teach him?” he says.
