Satyameva Jayate song Tajdar E Haram: John Abraham song is dripping with testosterone
Satyameva Jayate song Tajdar E Haram has John Abraham as a vigilante and Manoj Bajpayee’s cop hot on his chase.
Satyameva Jayate’s new song Tajdar E Haram doesn’t begin with music and lyrics, instead we are led on to it with a dialogue that packs quite a punch. As the video begins, we see a corrupt cop forcing himself on a woman draped in black. At just the right moment, a bloodied John Abraham enters the frame, saves the woman and beats up the policeman.
“Ghoonghat mei ho ya burke mei, iss desh mei aurat ko devi mante hai. Aur jo aurat ki izzat utare, usse ham sare aam marte hai,” says John as we are eased on to the track. We can already hear the audience clapping in the background.
The song has John as part of a Muharram procession and delivering some vigilante justice. He is also being pursued by Manoj Bajpayee’s honest cop. In between shots of violence and blood, we hear them exchange bombastic dialogues.
The song has been sung by Wajid and composed by Sajid Wajid. Danish Sabri has written the lyrics of the Satyameva Jayate song.
Tajdar E Haram also has visuals due to which a complaint was filed against Satyameva Jayate. BJP Minority Morcha’s city general secretary, Syed Ali Jaffry, had said religious sentiments were being hurt due to certain scenes in the film. He was quoted as saying, “There is one shot in the trailer which shows the festival of Muharram and it depicts a scene of Matam (self-flagellation). The actor is later shown committing a murder following Matam. This has hurt our sentiments.”
Written and Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, the film will release on the Independence Day this year.
