Shah Rukh Khan has clarified that his three-year-old son AbRam is not the “lovechild” of his first son, Aryan. Delivering his first TED Talk in Vancouver, on April 28, the actor rubbished reports that surfaced four years ago, when AbRam was born.
There are 15 years between AbRam and SRK’s eldest child Aryan.
“Four years ago, my lovely wife Gauri and me decided to have a third child. It was claimed on the net that he was the love child of our first child, who was 15 years old. Apparently, he had sown his wild oats with a girl while driving her car in Romania. And yeah, there was a fake video to go with it,” he said.
The 51-year-old actor said that he and the entire family were “disturbed” when the rumours first started circulating. “We were so disturbed as a family. My son, who is 19 now, even now when you say ‘hello’ to him, he just turns around and says, ‘But bro, I didn’t even have a European driving license,’” he said.
In the 17-minute talk, SRK reflected on his youth, growing up in Delhi, losing both his parents by the time he was in his 20s, and then, moving to the “sprawling metropolis of Mumbai”, to follow his dreams of becoming a movie star.
He will soon host the Hindi version of the popular international show.
