Shilpa Shetty to skip dear friend Bipasha’s wedding

Shilpa will have to skip the wedding to attend a fund raiser in Nairobi, Kenya.

We recently reported that Shilpa Shetty Kundra will be the only Bollywood actor to attend Bipasha Basu’s mehendi ceremony today (April 29). Shilpa was also set to attend Bipasha’s wedding to Karan Singh Grover on April 30.

However, now, we have found out that Shilpa will have to skip the wedding to attend a fund raiser in Nairobi, Kenya.

Shilpa will attend the mehendi ceremony today, and then she will fly to Nairobi. A source says Shilpa is sad about missing close friend Bipasha’s wedding function and the reception, but she has no choice as she had already made a commitment to this charity event.

“But she is also excited about performing live on stage after seven years. She agreed to do so only because it was for a charitable cause. The proceeds generated from the event will be donated to an NGO that works with cancer patients. She will perform to a medley of her hit songs.”
