Shooting in Maharashtra jails to cost more

In a development that is sure to affect Bollywood filmmakers, the Maharashtra Home Department has revised rentals and has also come up with fresh guidelines for shooting in jail premises in the state.

In a development that is sure to affect Bollywood filmmakers, the Maharashtra Home Department has revised rentals and has also come up with fresh guidelines for shooting in jail premises in the state.

The authorities have also decided to restrict the crew from interacting with the inmates and not allow the inclusion of inmates in the shoot. Reports suggest that this could be because of actor Sanjay Dutt, who is currently serving his sentence in the Pune Yerawada Jail.
