A wise man once said God doesn’t reside in stone idols or big temples, but inside us. Former Bigg Boss contestant Sofia Hayat believes that too, although in a more literal fashion.
During a recent visit to Kailash temple at Aurangabad in Maharashtra, Sofia – who has decided to remain celibate for the rest of her life – shared an Instagram video that showed her making quite a controversial claim. “Today I know I gave birth to Shiva. Today he came back to me and is inside me,” she said.

Rakhi Sawant: Following the death of TV actor Pratyusha Banerjee, Sawant urged the Indian government to ban ceiling fans. “It’s more important to remove ceiling fans from homes than chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’, because daughters are committing suicide by hanging themselves from ceiling fans,” she said.

Farah Khan Ali: In a statement issued after the Salman Khan hit-and-run case, the celebrity designer blamed pavement dwellers – and the government – for the incident. Giving a clean chit to Salman, she tweeted: “The government should be responsible for housing people. If no one was sleeping on the road, (as is the case) in any other country, Salman would not have driven over anybody. It’s like penalising the train driver because someone decided to cross the tracks and got killed.”

Salman Khan: Controversy is Salman Khan’s middle name. At a recent promotional event for Sultan, he compared his gruelling training sessions with a social malady that nobody in his right mind would joke about. “When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to actually be like a raped woman walking out,” he said.
Ram Gopal Varma: This is what the maverick film director tweeted about Rajinikanth: “Nowhere in the world can a man who looks like this be a superstar. I wonder what he did to God that God did this to him.” Needless to say, Rajini fans weren’t exactly amused.
Varun Dhawan: The newbie compared his 2015 film Dilwale to Inception. “Have you seen Inception? Understood it? Liked it? Then you will like Dilwale. There is a lot to our film. There is a plot, story, is logical, and is a full-on 2015 film that has a lot of twists and turns.” Now that we have seen both the films, we know who to slow-clap for.

Kareena Kapoor: When the actor was asked about her personal computer, she said: I don’t know about the hardware, but I have a green one. Also, I have gifted two of them to Karishma’s son – one is red and the other is yellow.
Alia Bhatt: The Udta Punjab star had the whole country in splits when Bollywood celebrity-cum-TV host Karan Johar asked her to name the Indian President on his talk show. Prithviraj Chauhan, she said. Bhatt should probably have run a Google search on Kareena’s green computer before responding.
