Fallouts among contemporaries in Bollywood are not unheard of. But this seems to be the season of patch-ups with many extending the olive branch to people they had issues with.
Fallouts among contemporaries in Bollywood are not unheard of. But this seems to be the season of patch-ups with many extending the olive branch to people they had issues with.
Sometime back, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sushant Singh Rajput’s uneasy equation became quite apparent when the latter started ignoring the Aashiqui 2 (2013) actor at public events.
According to insiders, Sushant was upset with Aditya for taking up the part in a film that he was initially considered for. But recently, at an event, the two actors met and hugged each other, suggesting that they have finally left their differences behind. A source says, "They’re all mature people who understand that such things happen. You cannot hold on to your grudges."
Sushant and Aditya are not alone. Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma, who did not see eye-to-eye for a long time, ever since Deepika reportedly started dating Anushka’s former beau, Ranveer Singh, have also kissed and made up, quite literally. During the days of their rift, they made it a point to avoid each other at social gatherings. However, when the two met recently, people were surprised to see them have a pleasant conversation. And when the shutterbugs asked the ladies to pose for the cameras, Deepika enthusiastically planted a peck on Anushka’s cheek.
Apart from that, cold vibes among the three Khans — Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir — have been a topic of discussion for several years now. While Aamir has still maintained cordial relations with the other two for quite some time now, SRK and Salman’s fallout in 2008, when they got embroiled into a verbal spat at Katrina Kaif’s birthday, created bad blood amongst the two. However, their gestures of warmth off and on (their amicable exchanges at Baba Siddiqui’s Iftaar parties and Shah Rukh’s presence at Salman’s sister, Arpita’s wedding) come as a surprise to many.
