An insider from the sets of the Devang Dholakia film reveals that neither of the actors was using a body double, so when Sunny mistakenly hit Karishma, the latter stumbled and hurt herself in the process.

Karishma confirms the incident, adding, "For a few hours, I had to apply water and ice. I was injured on my knees and stomach."

However, the actor isn’t upset about the mishap.

"Such injuries make me stronger. They give me the confidence that I can do action scenes by myself. We didn’t take body doubles because we wanted to do these stunts. One day prior to the shoot, we practiced jumping and kicking in the air," she says.

Devang adds that since the injury was minor, it didn’t throw the schedule for a toss.

"Naturally, the shoot was affected for a few hours because Karishma was hurt, but she was back on the set in a day," says the director.
