Talvar collection rises on day two, Singh Is Bliing dips to Rs 14.5cr

Singh is Bliing, choreographer Prabhudheva’s latest directorial venture, collected Rs 14.50 crore on Saturday while the Irrfan Khan-Konkona Sen-starrer Talvar earned mere Rs 2.75 crore.

After a record breaking collection on day one, Akshay Kumar-starrer Singh Is Bliing saw a dip in earnings at the ticket windows on Saturday. However, the collections for Talvar -- a thriller directed by Meghna Gulzar based on the 2008 Aarushi-Hemraj double murder case in Noida - increased, compared to its first day run.

Singh is Bliing, choreographer Prabhudheva’s latest directorial venture, collected Rs 14.50 crore on Saturday while the Irrfan Khan-Konkona Sen-starrer Talvar earned mere Rs 2.75 crore.

On the day of release, Singh is Bliing made a collection of Rs 20.67 crore while Talvar earned Rs 2.5 crore on the ticket windows.

Made on an estimated budget of Rs 92 crores, Singh Is Bliing has collected a total of Rs 35.17 crore in two days while Talvar has earned Rs 5.75 crore. With its estimated budget standing at Rs 16 crore, Talvar also collected Rs 50 lakhs from paid previews on Thursday.
