“Commando 2 will be the biggest action film in recent times,” says Vidyut Jammwal. The actor, who is known for his action skills, promises high-octane and never-seen-before action sequences in his upcoming movie. “The risk and danger involved was more as the action sequences were challenging. We created a new genre of action, where no cables and wires were used. It will be a visual spectacle,” he says.

He adds that there was a sense of responsibility to surpass the level of action he performed in Commando (2013).

“The kind of action I do, very few people in the world can. What I do, with my height and size, nobody else can,” says Vidyut, who admires Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn. Ask him if he would be keen to showcase his action skills on an international platform, and he says, “What is possible on my part is to do exceptionally well with opportunities that come my way. International projects will happen, if it has to happen.”

On asking him about the lessons learnt in showbiz, he says, “I’ve learnt that there is no one particular path that can lead you to where you want to reach. If someone feels only by working with a certain set of people, you can reach the top, it’s not necessarily the same for others. Don’t follow what people say is the right path. Create your own path.”
