Thugs of Hindostan: Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh are hard at work to follow Katrina’s sparkly act

New leaked photos from Thugs of Hindostan sets show Aamir Khan and Fatima Sana Shaikh shooting for a special song.

Now that Padmaavat and Padman are already out, it is time to focus our lens on the big films of this year. There, right on top of the list, is Thugs of Hindostan starring Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh (phew!). The film’s popularity can be gauged from the fact that leaked photos emerge from the film’s sets every other day.

So, if on Wednesday we saw a gilded Katrina Kaif practising her dance steps for a high-energy song in the film, now is the turn of Aamir and Fatima to get on the dance floor. Photos show the two actors dressed in red and practising their dance routine.

Earlier, in an interview, Aamir had let it slip that the real ‘hero’ of Thugs of Hindostan is Fatima Sana Shaikh. He said, “Even in Thugs of Hindostan, the central role is the girl who is being played by Fatima Sana Shaikh. The story of the film is about her.”

The film is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Aamir also said, It’s a big action-adventure movie. The film is set in the period from 1790 to 1805. It is not a historical film but a fiction set in that period. The look that I sport now, including the long hair, the nose ring, and ear-piercing, is for that film.”
