’s association with Shah Rukh Khan goes back a long time. The two first shared screen space in King Uncle in 1993.

They went on to feature in films like Trimurti (1995) and One 2 Ka 4 (2001) too, but the last time they did so was in Devdas (2002). Now, in Farah Khan’s upcoming film, the duo will be seen together again, after a period of 12 years.

Looking back at when

Shah Rukh

approached him for this film, Jackie says, "He is my colleague and there was no way I could have said no to him." He adds, "He has not changed one bit. He is the same witty, funny and hard-working person that he was before he got popular."

Quoting Shah Rukh’s steady rise in Bollywood as an example, Jackie hopes that young, upcoming actors, including his son Tiger, will follow in his footsteps.
