Toilet Ek Prem Katha day 4 box office report: Akshay Kumar’s film makes Rs 63 crore
Akshay Kumar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha has minted Rs 63 crore at the box office and is expected to do better on Independence Day holiday.
Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s Toilet Ek Prem Katha is doing fairly well at the box office. The film has raked in Rs 63 crore in first four days of its release.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the fresh figures on Tuesday after heaping praises on the film. “#ToiletEkPremKatha is on a DREAM RUN... Fri 13.10 cr, Sat 17.10 cr, Sun 21.25 cr, Mon 12 cr. Total: Rs 63.45 cr. India biz,” he tweeted.
#ToiletEkPremKatha is UNSTOPPABLE... It’s a WAVE that grows with each passing day... MASSIVE Tue [Independence Day] on the cards,” he shared in another tweet.
The film is expected to do even better business on Tuesday due to the Independence Day holiday.
Akshay even tweeted a video in which he danced with Ranveer Singh to celebrate the film’s success. His wife and author Twinkle Khanna also congratulated him on Twitter.

Toilet Ek Prem Katha, directed by Shree Narayan Singh, tells the story of a newly wed woman who leaves her husband’s house after not finding a toilet there. She refuses to defecate in open and demands that he builds a toilet or she’ll never come back to him.
The film, upon its release on Friday, got lukewarm response from critics. Akshay will next be seen in Padman, directed by R Balki and Bhumi will be seen in Shubh Mangal Savdhan, directed by RS Prasanna.
