Varun Dhawan invites fan from Ukraine for trailer launch

Dhawan’s admirer flies down to India just to meet him; the actor invites her for the trailer launch of David Dhawan's directorial venture Main Tera Hero.

A week ago, Varun Dhawan was busy with a photo shoot when he was informed that one of his fans — a Ukrainian girl named Nastya — had come down to city to meet him. “She visited India just to meet Varun. He was at a photo shoot for a brand when she first met him,” says an insider.

Apparently, Nastya couldn’t speak or understand either Hindi or English. But there were a couple of other people who came with her and helped Varun comprehend what she wanted to say. “It was a thrilling experience for him,” reveals the insider, adding, “Since she couldn’t say much due to the language barrier, she did say ‘I love you’ to him multiple times, which, in turn, embarrassed him to some extent.”

In fact, Varun was caught by surprise when Nastya showed him all his photographs, promotions, advertisements and film-related materials related to him in her laptop. “When he saw it, he was left speechless. Later on, he invited her for the trailer launch of Main Tera Hero (which was held the next day),” says the insider.

When contacted, Varun confirms the news, saying, “Yes, I had invited Nastya for the trailer launch. She came for the event and I made sure that she was comfortable. She really liked the trailer. In fact, she had brought some chocolates and a local dress — striped shirt and pants — for me. You certainly feel good when your work reaches beyond boundaries in such a loving way.”
