Earlier there there were doubts around Imran Khan pulling off the role of a rough and tough rustic Haryanvi guy.

Says a source, “Since Imran had the soft city boy look, many people had warned Vishal Bhardwaj not to sign Imran for the role and said that he would be risking his film if he did. However, the director was confident of his choice of actor and went ahead with his choice.”
