Alia Bhatt, Randeep Hooda-starrer Highway looks quite promising if the first trailer is anything to go by.

Produced by UTV Motion Pictures, Imtiaz Ali's latest venture Highway tracks the journey of a young girl abducted just days before her marriage.

In the trailer, Imtiaz shows how the girl (Alia Bhatt) traverses a gamut of emotions - from fear to fun - as she travels with her abductors across the states. Randeep Hooda, one of the abductors, plays the male lead.

Alia says in the trailer, "I do not want to go back to the place from where you abducted me, neither to the place you are taking me. I just want this journey to continue forever."

The trailer showcases an energy-filled journey on the highway.
