Dibakar Banerjee is out with a romantic song from Shanghai featuring Emraan Hashmi. The heart touching track Khudayaa shows Hashmi missing Kalki Koechlin, his love interest in the political-thriller.



Shekhar Ravjiani has given his voice to the soulful number and music is by Vishal-Shekhar.



The movie is based on a book titled Z by Vassilis Vassilikos, which itself was adapted into the famous Academy Award-winning film Z.



While Abhay Deol plays the role of Krishnan, an IAS officer posted in Maharashtra, Emraan Hashmi plays the role of Jogi, a small-town wheeler-dealer who shoots marriage videos and porn movies. Kalki Koechlin will be seen as Shalini, an earnest and innocent student-political activist who wants to change the world.



Expectations are high from this Banerjee, who has given hits like Khosla Ka Ghosla, Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, Love Sex aur Dhokha.



The film will release on June 8.
