The resemblance is uncanny between Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor.

Rajkumar Hirani has a perfect little something to kick off your weekend on a sweet note. The Bollywood director shared a clip from his upcoming film, Sanju, in which lead actor Ranbir Kapoor has recreated Sanjay Dutt’s famous classroom scene from Munnabhai MBBS.

“Hope you have as much fun watching this scene from Munna Bhai M.B.B.S as I had in recreating it after 15 years,” Hirani wrote in a tweet. In the clip, Ranbir looks like a complete carbon copy of Sanjay, from the highlights in his hair, the bright orange shirt to the exact same voice and expressions.

Exactly the same, isn’t it? We hope you noticed all the other students behind him are also the same.

When the film’s trailer was launched in May, Ranbir had told mediapersons how he wishes to have Sanjay’s approval.

“When I was a child, I had a poster of Sanju sir on the wall of my cupboard, and through this film, I am in his shoes. I think in my life, I really want Sanju sir to like me.

“I know I never can be the man he is, but in whichever way that I go about in my career as a person and even through this film, I really want Sanju sir to like me because I feel that he is man that I respect a lot and I really look up to him. I hope that he feels that I have represented his life in very honest and improved way.”

Sanju is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and also stars Manisha Koirala, Anushka Sharma, Sonam Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vicky Kaushal and Jim Sarbh. The film is releasing on June 29.
