All fans, who haven't had enough of Salman Khan since Ek Tha Tiger, can breathe a sigh of relief as the actor is back and this time, he's playing himself! The new, much-hyped song Kudiye Di Kurti from the film Ishkq In Paris features Salman, Preity and even Rhehan Malliek.

The song begins with Salman's grand entry with his back to the camera. As the actor shows himself, an excited Preity Zinta jumps up with joy. While Salman dons a black and gold jacket over a pathan suit, Preity is seen in a magenta and lemon yellow kurti, supposedly the inspiration for Salman's song.

As Sonu Nigam croons in the background, Sallu is seen doing his typical stiff dance. As always the hip movement is minimal and Salman makes up for it with his expressions.

The song is your typical dance/party number and doesn't really have much new to offer, though the energy levels are pretty high. The song, that's filled with Punjabi beats, has been composed by musical duo Sajid-Wajid, while the lyrics have been written by Jalees Sherwani. And everyone in the video seems to love Bollywood!

Salman keeps his promise to Preity

Salman Khan had made a commitment to Preity Zinta. And proving his filmi one-liner true, he hasn’t gone back on his word. Almost a year ago, actor-turned-producer Preity had approached Salman to make a special appearance in Ishkq In Paris and Salman promptly agreed.

“When Sajid-Wajid composed the song, Preity first thought of Salman. He agreed to take time out for it. But later, when the time to shoot the song arrived, Salman got caught up with the promotions for his last release, Ek Tha Tiger (ETT). As a result, everyone was unsure whether he would be able to do it,” says a source. “But he had told Preity that come what may, he would be present for the shoot.” And so he was.

Amidst the frenzy of ETT’s promotions, Salman took four days off to shoot for the song, Kudiye di kurti. The number is played during the protagonist Rhehan Malliek’s friend’s wedding, where he is the celebrity who makes a special appearance.

Ask Preity about this and she says, “I love Salman for being part of my first film as a producer. First experiences are always the most memorable and special ones. And he has rocked it by looking so handsome and super hot. I just want to say: ‘Thank you and I love you Salman’.”

Bhushan Kumar, chairman and MD of T-Series adds, "No one could do it better than Salman. He is a complete rock star in the number."

Preity’s film shot on top of the Eiffel Tower

Actor Preity Zinta’s film, Ishkq in Paris, includes a scene that was shot on top of the Eiffel Tower, and that too, on a day that recorded the lowest temperature that Europe has seen in the past 65 years.
