, will be investing Rs 1000 crore in commercial Hindi movies. Even though the year hasn’t seen too many hits, Modi insists he is not risking his money since he’s not producing a
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Se (KHJJS).
“I’ve already recovered my investment in

Apart from films, Spice Studio will also venture into music and entertainment products. “Taking mobile telephony and Internet ahead, we will be launching products that will allow you to view films while you are on the move,” Modi affirms, adding that he’s also planning to start a multiplex in Hollywood.
And what about his ambitious
? “I will announce an update on this International project by December 30. Ashutosh (Giowarikar) was busy with
while I was busy with
. Ashutosh doesn’t want to make it as a commercial film but David has written it as one. I’d like to make it with big stars but Ashutosh doesn’t agree on that either,” he grouses. “For any film to work, we require a good story, a viable cast and perfect direction. We’ll take the final call on whether we will go ahead with Ashutosh or not by December 30.”
