At 25, Deepika Padukone has become popular for her healthy lifestyle. The cast and crew of Rohit Dhawan’s Desi Boyz — while shooting in London — experienced it first hand. The actor vanished early morning for an hour nearly everyday without informing any crew-member of her whereabouts.

Our source from the Desi Boyz sets reveals, “Deepika is disciplined. She impressed everyone with her time management for to squeeze in space for cycling. She didn’t skip the routine even when she partied till late in the night or shot for 18 hours a day.”

Turns out that when she was quizzed about her vanishing act, she said that she cycled from 6am to 7am around popular London streets like the Oxford Street and Abbey Road. “Deepika was also eating simple and healthy food. And cycling helped her explore London, one of her favourite destinations,” adds the source.

Although Deepika remained unavailable for a comment, her spokesperson confirms: “The Desi Boyz team was highly impressed with her dedication. She’s a fitness freak.” The cast of Desi Boyz includes John Abraham, Chitrangda Singh and Akshay Kumar.
