Why should boys have all the fun: Heroines with younger co-stars

Heroines like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif are all going to be working with younger male actors like Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Fawad Khan and Adiya Roy Kapoor.

It’s not just heroes romancing heroines half their age. These A list ladies will be working with younger actors in their upcoming films.

Priyanka Chopra, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor Khan will all star opposite younger actors.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Bajirao Mastani will be the third film ­together for actor Priyanka Chopra, 33, and Ranveer Singh, 30. They ­earlier acted ­together in Gunday (2014) and Dil Dhadakne Do. “We are fortunate to have had the opportunity in three back-to-back films,” Priyanka was quoted as saying.

Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapoor.

Actor Aditya Roy Kapoor and Katrina Kaif will be sharing the screen in Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming film. Katrina, 32, is three years elder to Aditya. The two reportedly took 12 hours and endless rehearsals to get ­intimate for a scene.

Actor Arjun Kapoor, 30, will be paired with Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is five years elder to him. “I am very excited to work with Kareena. Media always says she is my senior but there is nothing like that. I have known her since long,” he was quoted as saying.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan.

Actor Fawad Khan, 33, who is nine years younger to actor Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, will be seen alongside her in Karan Johar’s upcoming film. The film is currently being shot in London. The two will be working together for the first time.
