Women don’t get their due in films: Shah Rukh Khan

After saying that the name of his heroines will appear before his, in the credit role of his films, Shah Rukh Khan, has gone a step ahead and said that he feels that despite working twice as hard as men, women in Bollywood don’t get the kind of recognition that they deserve.

After saying that the name of his heroines will appear before his, in the credit role of his films, Shah Rukh Khan, has gone a step ahead and said that he feels that despite working twice as hard as men, women in Bollywood don’t get the kind of recognition that they deserve. “They work harder, they hold the film together and I honestly think, they do not their due credit,” the actor insists. He further adds, “I truly believe that women are the backbone, at least in my field of work. I am inspired by all of them.” Shah Rukh also admits he “loves to work with women directors.” In the past, he has worked with Hema Malini in her directorial debut Dil Aashna Hai (1992) and with Farah Khan’s films Main Hoon Na (2004) and Om Shanti Om (2007).
