It was been widely reported that actor John Abraham’s new discovery Yami Gautam has been roped in for his next home production Hamara Bajaj, which will be directed by Shoojit Sircar. But John refutes any such development. “Yami is not in Hamara Bajaj. We are looking out for a new girl,” says John. However Yami, who got her big break in Bollywood with Shoojit Sircar’s Vicky Donor (2012) is not upset with the development, as her mentor has already planned another film for her.

“We are going to cast Yami again, but in a different film,” John says. Yami is presently shooting for director Eeshwar Nivas’s Aman Ki Asha where she plays the lead opposite Ali Zafar. Her pairing with Ayushmann Khurana in Vicky Donor turned out to be such a hit that John was frequently asked if he was going to work with the duo in a new venture. Finally, the actor and producer has put these queries to rest. Rumours were also circulating that Shoojit was interested in working with Parineeti Chopra. So will John sign her for the lead opposite Ayushmann? “Shoojit is a better judge of that. He and I will finally sit and decide. We will take a call on that closer to when we finish the script completely,” he reveals.
