Yash Chopra's last directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan might not see the light of day in Pakistan. The SRK-Katrina starrer is expected to get banned owing to its content about an army operation in Kashmir.
Yash Chopra's last directorial venture Jab Tak Hai Jaan might not see the light of day in Pakistan. The SRK-Katrina starrer is expected to get banned owing to its content about an army operation in Kashmir.
"The film may get banned in Pakistan because it involves Shah Rukh Khan in an army operation in Kashmir. The trailer too has been stopped from being screened on various TV channels in Pakistan. The movie shows SRK as part of a bomb disposal squad in the Indian Army who is up to some serious action in Kashmir, which may be the reason it might be banned," a source told a daily.
The final call will be taken by the Pakistan censor board when the film is presented to them.
Recent films like Saif Ali Khan's Agent Vinod and Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger were also not screened in the neighbouring nation.

It is in fact inspired by Eagle-Eye Cherry's number Save Tonight from his album Desireless. The opening notes of Challa, where SRK is strumming the guitar, is uncanningly similar to Save Tonight's music.
