Special house editions to mark 20 years of Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone

JK Rowling’s debut novel is now available with book covers based on the four Hogwarts houses – Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

It has been 20 years since boy wizard Harry Potter first entered the lives of us muggles with The Philosopher’s Stone. To mark the first book’s 20th anniversary, publisher Bloomsbury India has brought out special house editions of the first book.

The edition of JK Rowling’s debut novel has exclusive book cover designs based on the four Hogwarts houses – Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin.

“This is a limited edition and the designs have been especially made to mark 20 years of the first book. The Potter maniacs can now grab a copy of the book according to their favourite Hogwarts house,” Meenakshi Singh from Bloomsbury India said.

All seven books in the series were adapted into hit films. Such was the frenzy that marked a Potter book release that serpentine queues could be seen outside bookstores around each release.
