The media industry was taken by storm as an alleged television channel funded by a major network shut down, leaving 160 alleged employees out of work. The channel, which was Veena Malik's last chance of getting married after being tainted by AshmitPatel appeared to exist in parallel dimension - with even TAM officials being unaware of its existence. Signs of the channels potential demise became evident after a popular ponytailed consultant withdrew his self-propagating advertisements to the network.

Mr. Tam Brahm, chief of TAM said "We had heard rumors about the existence of a channel allegedly called Imagine. However despite our best attempts and stationing an employee on the rooftop trying to adjust our antenna, we could not locate the channels signal. We have brought in the CBI to try and investigate this mystery, who have already blamed the channel's disappearance on its loose character."

The employees, firm believers of the capitalistic system till their own jobs got taken away are now suddenly turning socialist. "We can't believe our jobs have been taken away like this on a one day notice. Even Kingfisher Airlines staff got treated better. We would like to request the government of India to intervene and invest money so that our livelihoods can be secured", said an alleged employee.

The head of the channel, Mr Kalpanik Sharma had this to add. "Now that the channel has shut down, we are very pleased at the massive social media buzz that has been created. A total of 8 people now know about our channels existence. So much so that we are now looking at trying to re-launch the channel because we will probably get the most advertising we have ever gotten".
There seems to have been no impact on the general public after the channels shutdown. Millions of housewives continue to watch other regressive networks that bathe them in pre-independence cultural nostalgia.
