It’s fun to include some feminine element when you wear menswear from head-to-toe. Tricks like tucking the top in to make your lower body seem longer and sticking to gender-neutral hues like beige, brown and green will help.

What is Ungender? #UngenderExplained

At the core, #Ungender is an emotion that reiterates every individual’s right to the freedom of expression, in what they wear, how they speak and how they choose to think of themselves. Aishwarya Subramanyam, the much-loved editor of Elle India till just last week, explains that Ungender is a movement that aims at breaking down society’s ideas of how men and women should behave. “Ungender is basically the acceptance of anyone on the gender spectrum – man, woman or a transgender. It is about gender equality and by that I am referring to all genders, not just man and woman,” she says.
