KHARAGPUR: Infosys cofounder K Gopalakrishnan on Sunday said although the Indian economy is growing well, not enough jobs were being created. Especially after the financial meltdown in 2008, the world is seeing increase in income disparity. “India is less affected since we have an economy that is still growing strongly. But we are not seeing large number of good, well-paying jobs being created,” he said. Describing the issue as “troubling”, he said: “We need to find solutions to this challenge.”
