MUMBAI: India and the UK on Monday deliberated upon ways to boost bilateral trade, besides the possibility of negotiating a free trade agreement (FTA). The issues were discussed during a meeting between commerce minister Nirmala Sitharaman and UK’s secretary of state for international trade Liam Fox. When asked about the possibility of a FTA, she said: “yes there is a possibility of an FTA with the UK. No doubt about it. But obviously, UK is still a part of the European Union (EU).
