3-month low: sensex tanks below 16K

The 30-share benchmark index of the Bombay Stock Exchange fell 2.68 per cent to end at 15,790.93 points. The 50-share National Stock Exchange’s Nifty ended down 2.61 per cent at 4,718.65 points. The Sensex sank below the 16,000 level after more than three months.
