Can I use Kerio Personal Firewall with Norton Antivirus

Yes, you can install Kerio, or ZoneAlarm, as a firewall, and Norton as the antivirus. They won't conflict. However, you should not install more than one firewall or antivirus software each. Boot with the installation CDs and follow the dialog boxes on installing GnuLinux. Do backup your data first. You could refer to tldp.org, linuxnewbie.org, as well as buy a GnuLinux book for more guidance.
