"The pavilion will be called "Delhi @ 10," said Manoj Parida, Managing Director, Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure development Corporation (DSIIDC). DSIIDC is setting up the pavilion on behalf of the Delhi government.

"The pavilion will focus on the achievements of the Delhi government in past 10 years in fields ranging from industry, forestry, health, power, education and social welfare," said Parida.

The Rajiv Ratua Awaas Scheme, inaugurated by UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and being implemented by DSIIDC for providing affordable housing to urban poor will be highlighted.

Other features of the pavilion will be a replica of the Red Fort with figurines of our first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru and current premier Manmohan Singh unfurling the national flag from its ramparts. The wall of the pavilion will have translites depicting the achievements of the Delhi government. One section of the wall will be dedicated to the Commonwealth Games, being held in India for the first time.
