Elder enters anti-smoking segment

Mumbai-headquar tered Elder Pharmaceuticals, has forayed into the Rs 720- crore anti-smoking products or nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products segment, reports HT Correspondent.

The firm has entered into an exclusive manufacturing tie-up with Mumbai based Gelnova Laboratories to introduce NRT products in pastille form. A pastille is a jelly-like prepara- tion in cube shape. The com- pany expects to achieve a sales turnover of about Rs 18-20 crore from this product by the end of the third year of launch.
