GMR Infra posts Q3 net loss of Rs 22.25 cr

GMR Infrastructure on Thursday reported a net loss of Rs 22.25 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 9.20 crore in the October-December quarter last fiscal, GMR Infra said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Income from operations of the company, however, rose to Rs 1,358.78 crore in the third quarter from Rs 1,066.72 crore in the year-ago period, the filing added.
Despite reporting weak third quarter numbers, shares of GMR Infra were trading 4.25 per cent higher at Rs 33.10 apiece on the BSE on Thursday.
