HDFC hikes interest rate on fixed deposit: See more details here

Starting December 1, the HDFC Bank has hiked the interest rates on fixed deposits (FDs) by up to 10 basis points (bps) on select tenors. Following the latest revision, the bank is now offering a 2.50% interest rate on deposits between 7 days and 29 days. While deposits that mature in 30-90 days, will get a 3 % interest rate.

On 91 days to 6 months, the interest rate has been increased to 3.5% and on 6 months 1 day to less than one year, the interest rate has been hiked to 4.4%. For fixed depots that mature in one year, the bank will give 4.9%.

The ban has hiked the interest rates by 10 basis points (bps) on deposits maturing in one year and two years. These deposits will get an interest rate of 5%, as per the revised order.
