Indian shares opened 0.19 per cent higher on Tuesday, led by gains in Reliance Industries Ltd
At 9:55 am (0425 GMT), the 30-share BSE index <.BSESN> was up 38.28 points at 20,325.27.
The 50-issue NSE index <.NSEI> was up 0.17 per cent at 6,148.90.
