Indians shrug off price surge in hunger for gold

Despite a 20% surge in gold prices, India's hunger for the yellow metal is strong. According to the a report released by the World Gold Council (WGC), the country witnessed a 79% year-on-year growth in absolute terms in the first nine months of 2010.
