Larsen and Toubro bags orders worth Rs 2215 crore

Larsen and Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm won orders amounting to R2215 crore in the last two months across various segments, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

Larsen and Toubro’s (L&T) construction arm won orders amounting to Rs 2215 crore in the last two months across various segments, the company said in a press release on Tuesday.

In the power transmission and distribution business, L&T secured new orders worth Rs 1137 crore in the domestic and international markets. Orders were received from Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited and Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited to improve power distribution in Ghaziabad and Varanasi, respectively.

L&T’s subsidiary Larsen and Toubro Oman LLC (LTO) bagged an order from the Oman Electricity Transmission Company for the consruction of a substation.

In the building and factories business, it secured a new international order with add-ons in the domestic market for R962 crore.

Additional orders worth Rs 116 crore have been received from other businesses of L&T construction.
